Description

K&J Recruitment is currently looking for a number of experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers in the Wisbech and March area for ongoing Curtainsider and refrigerated work.

Day, night and tramping shifts are available, offering regular ongoing work with competitive rates of pay.

Monday to Friday

  • Days (06:00–18:00): £19.00/hr
  • Nights (18:00–06:00): £20.00/hr

Saturday

  • Days (06:00–18:00): £20.00/hr
  • Nights (18:00–06:00): £21.00/hr

Sunday

  • Days (06:00–18:00): £21.00/hr
  • Nights (18:00–06:00): £22.00/hr

Nights Out: £25

Responsibilities
  • perate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and professionally.
  • Carry out Curtainsider and refrigerated deliveries.
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Comply with transport legislation and drivers’ hours regulations.
  • Complete delivery paperwork where required.
  • Nights out and tramping when required.
Qualifications
  • Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
  • No more than 6 penalty points.
  • Good understanding of UK drivers’ hours regulations.
  • Assessment required before starting.
  • Reliable and professional attitude.
